Sweet Surprises

I see dark chocolate....and milk chocolate...and chocolate that is perfectly smooth and white. I see licorice and buttercream and chewy caramel. I see toasted almonds and pecans and frosted mint. I see butterscotch and rich thick sweet cream.

I see a box - overflowing with surprises. A one in which you never quite know what it is you're getting until you take a bite and look inside.

Please - don't burst my bubble and tell me that all you see is a pile of dried up old fallen leaves?

WONDERFUL Description for Day 22. I see exactly what you see:)))

November 22, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterFranT

But such a beautifully weathered and coloured pile of old leaves in your hands, Marcie; and an occasion when the imagination and your interpretation completely overwhelms the reality.

Maybe it's where my head is these days, but I see the crowd in the city, maybe Grand Central Station, busy, moving around, and there are two people who are for each other in the middle of it all. They are just like all the others, except they match each other. And that makes them ever so special to each other.

Love your photography, Marcie.

Maybe I just like dried up old fallen leaves.....! but that is not what I think of - they are stunning, like our beautiful mother earth - from the richness of the red/gold/rust
earth to those amazing blue leaves, which look like a beautiful winter starry night.... thank you.

I think we may be born of the same cloth. That's EXACTLY what I see. Might have something also to do with the fact that I am busy making homemade chocolates for the holidays :) Beautiful shades and hues of chocolate (one of my two new favorite colors). Happy Thanksgiving Marcie! Much gratitude and thanks for your words and images each day. It is truly a special addition to my day.

I feel a chill in the air... a mushing sound when you step on wet leaves... the warmth of the cup of coffee ~ flavored with peppermint... while I stand on the porch... ah! ah! love your picture.

Your art is always a box of surprises. Besides the beauty I can see clearly the last thing on my mind would be a pile of dried up old fallen leaves. Amazing textures, amazing colours, amazing frame, Marcie!

Truly a fanatstic process, revealing the essence of fall. This palette is outrageously gorgeous, going
along this narrow crop, what a powerful image ! Very inspired and inspiring.

I've seen your mail. For mid-december it will quite difficult for me. Can we say January ? I'm really
sorry about this but it will be really hard for me to find time. I will feel more confortable
with a january post. Is it possible ? Many thanks for your kindness and sweet coms dear. Truly
appreciated. :-)
