Sky Watch

The day dawned in partial sunshine. It was hard to believe - early this morning - that the forecasted weather was really going to happen. Couldn't help but stop to capture these balloons against the darkening skies.

This photo is gorgeous, the effect so skillfully done. Those balloons seem serene in the face of what is to come.
When I got up this morning, I was glad to see that the storm had weakened and it's not as bad as it could have been (although it still sounds like it was pretty bad :-( )

Was so glad to hear from my brother, and from you that things were not so bad in MA.
It was not as bad here as we expected as far as the wind, but not too far from here there is some very bad flooding.
We are expecting one more round of rain, then it is supposed to clear.

I looked closely at this image...the cloud is the head of a fish, the balloons the lure....funny what we can see when we really look.
