Mistaken Identities

A coyote - I thought.

Oh...not one - but maybe two. If there are two..there must be more. Should I run..or stand my ground? What am I supposed to do?

The fog was thick. The world was in shadows.

It took me a bit to see that these two sweet pups were as terrified of who and what they thought I might be..as I was of them.

If I mistook them for wild and dangerous coyotes...I can only imagine what it was for that they mistook me???

They simply mistook you for a well known photographer who can make them famous posting their photos on her blog ;-)

I got bit by a black lab a couple of years ago walking down to the beach. Left a plate sized black bruise on my thigh. The owner was working on a house and tied the dog by the road. I didn't see him and startled him awake and he nailed me. That guy shouldn't have tied him up by the road. Now I carry a really loud whistle on my key chain. I haven't had to try it out yet.

Very cool shot, Marcie.

The fog adds a great mood to the photo. It sure does look like a mirror image -- amazing!

Please tell me this is a reflection - their poses are such perfect mirrors of one another, it's uncanny!

Why do we so often assume the worst? (Rhetorical question.)

It's fantastic, but is the imagination category because there's some artography involved in the image? curiosity & all that...

September 22, 2011 | Unregistered Commentersherri

So cute! My little guy though he saw two dogs the other day. They were huge and he was very worried about them. When we got closer (they were around a blind corner), we realized to our excitement they were deer. I was not so quick with my camera though.
