Contemplating Rain
September 8, 2011 
Sitting still in the quiet sounds of endless rain. Letting go of the drama - the thunder..the lightning..the wind that blows.
In and out.
Finding the peace..the silence deep inside. Hearing those words - as just words. Not mine..not yours..but something else.
Knowing that this too..shall pass. There are no questions that need immediate answers. There is nothing wrong that needs making right. This is it. This is all there is.
Rain will fall. Sun will shine. All we will ever need..we already have.
Within.

So very true. I had to venture out in the rain today and it was quite the white knuckle ride. Major storm going on, visibility was poor, lots of accidents and lots of water on the road surface. So glad to be back home warm and safe.

Oh, Sweet! A melancholy image, really nice - a picture for a wall.
Rainy days are indeed a beautiful time to reflect within.
They teach us that all is perfect as it is.
There is little more comforting than a rainy day spent inside all snuggled up, and simply absorbing all that we are.
Sometimes I feel that often we are rushing through life, swept away by the perceived complexities that surround us.
In our quiet moments we are able to brush away those veils and see the simplicity that makes each of us what we are.
