Enough to Know

Some days - I search for the color. I search for the light. I search for that moment of silence in and among the endless drone of the falling rain.
Some days - the world is rendered best in shades of endless greys and blacks and whites.
And on some days - on days like this - it's enough to know that I showed up. I took myself out there. I got myself all muddy and wet. I looked and I saw. This.
On some days - it's enough to know that I breathed.

How very true! Sometimes it is all about the getting wet and muddy. I love how the ducks seems to be swimming in mid-air, floating in a sea of gray. Quite lovely in its black and white and gray.

Lovely subdues tones. I like the horizontal lines of water, and the lines of geese. Worth getting muddy for.
