Reds and Blues

It was the oddest juxtaposition of color and light. Fiery hot reds and oranges..suspended above the coolest of unexpected autumn blues.

I wondered what would happen when the two might meet...when these last leaves finally fall. I wondered if they'd make an exquisite shade of purple. Or - would it be more of a muddy brown....

I wondered about how it is that the leaves do change - from green to red and then to none at all. I wondered about the world - and why. I wondered about the sun and clouds..the moon and vast array of endless stars.

I wondered about a lot of things....as I always do - somehow.

A textbook study in the importance of contrast - in color, in texture, in focus. Each half works independently - but together, magic happens.
