Crayons and Markers

Five cats..three dogs...two spinning hamsters and a singing bird.
Crayons and markers and paints in every imaginary color. Walls as empty blank canvases..waiting to be filled. Imprints of tiny hands and feet found all around.
Cookies and milk. A bowl of fresh fruit on the kitchen counter. Music filling the air.
Pillow fights and marshmallows and tickles and giggles and joy everywhere.
Light and laughter and unpredictable messy magic. Bubble baths and good-night kisses and hugs.
And so it is - I imagine - the picture perfect happy family and life that lives right here.
Four dancing..growing children and lots and lots of love.

What a simply delicious image to wake up to. The colors are delightful on this bitter, grey morning. And the images you paint with words can't help but bring a smile. The house reminds me of some of the homes in the Campground on Martha's Vineyard.
As I was scrolling down on this beautiful photo, what did I think of? Those old-fashioned plastic wands with bubbles flowing everywhere! Just delightful!

The JOY to live in a candy colored home and have our five little kiddies once more leaving sticky fingerprints, muddy foot prints and yells and laughter....a memory from long ago. In fact I would live in this house now...without the past. smiles: sharon
