The Third Glance

At first glance - it's a lifeguard's chair with a lifesaver ring hanging immediately beside it.  Nothing other than an early morning...waiting for the day to begin.

At first glance - I hardly stop to take notice.

At second glance - it's summer. It's the thrill and excitement and relief - of jumping into the icey cold water. It's the joy and fun of splashing. It's the color. It's the sparkling bright light.

And the - on that third glance - I see a rectangle and a circle. I see black and grey and white..with a splash of red. I see an assymetrical balance. I see abstraction. I see artful composition...an orchestrated dance.

It was at that third glance that I stopped to look and see...and to click my shutter's lens.

I do believe that there is appeal everywhere... sometimes, it takes a few looks.

These colours of yours make me a lucky one. What an outstanding frame, Marcie. And there a hundred more glances to it, when we only stopp & stare for a little while. An amazing composition!
All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.
