Passing Storms

'Skies are darkening..winds are blowing...thunder is rumbling off in the near and far distance.'

He thought the rooster was listening. He thought the rooster heard. But his feathered friend didn't move or budge or utter a single word.

'Storms are coming.'

He tried again.

'Time to get off your perch and head for safe shelter.'

And so...and because his friend wasn't moving or responding to his pleas...he chose to stay up there balancing precariously on his post...waiting for the  lightning and thunder to subside..and drift away.

For so it was....that they were friends - y'know. The kind of friends that hold each other's hands..and weather life's storms. For better or worse. Together forever.

God's thumbprints were certainly on you being able to capture this 'moment in time' photo and then to have you write such an exquisite post to go along with it. Very inspiring.
