The In Between

They were such perfect metaphors for the first day of this new autumn season.

Simple empty containers waiting to be filled with this past summer's harvest...readying themselves for a season of hibernation and rest. Open and ready to receive the bounty.....yet - prepared to give it all up and away.

Three hard-working farmers...waiting and wanting and wishing. Watching and seeing everything..while at the same time seeing and watching nothing at all.

The pause between the seasons. The in between. The moment after one is done...and before the other has actually begun.

Love this! They just have so much character, sitting there, side by side.

Beautiful wagons in front of a beautiful scene. The fog is the valley is like whipped cream on a sundae.

The in-between...I love the name you are giving this time of the year when seasons are changing.

Very interesting photograph Marcie, showing these beautiful wagons empty yet waiting to be filled :-)

A wonderful marriage of photo and text.

And the mist adds to the mystery of the mood, soon filled with color.

Yes, a lovely visual metaphor indeed for that "time between." The waiting pause.

Amazing Marcie. Every page you write simply lifts one from reality to 'AGreat Reality'!

Oh this is just the most perfect 'transitional' seasonal photo I have ever seen. Just wonderful in its simplicity yet profound in all it has to say.

Sometimes I come here and just stare in...unbelief and childlike delight!

Tu fabriques des merveilles avec des objets usuels sans valeur que tu transformes avec l'élégance d'un talentueux joaillier.
Magnifique dans ce décor.
