Today's Gold

For a moment - the sun peeked its way out and thru the blanket of dark and grey.

For a moment - what hadn't quite been so apparent..was.

For just one moment - the problems without solutions were solved. The questions that had no answers..answered themslves. All of that that had been so out of focus..was suddenly - clear and bright.

I would have missed it - had I blinked..had I looked away.

The leaf that was green - yesterday..is golden - today. And tomorrow - I will have missed seeing the last of it here today.

Because in just one more moment - this leaf will be gone.
