These are about my recent adventures in Italy. I will be posting images and occasional accompanying descriptions of what it is you are looking at.
Hope you enjoy the journey.
With hundreds of beautiful buildings lining its banks, the Grand Canal in Venice forms the primary water-traffic corridor in the city. Most of the buildings date back to the 13th-18th centuries, and are prime examples of both the wealth and the art of the times.
Emerging from the water without any other access other than that of a boat, one can only imagine how enchantingly peaceful and quiet it was when sail boats and gondolas were the only means of getting from one palazzo to another.

wow i can't believe these colors!! perhaps it's because the only other person i knew that went to italy was my husband, and his FILM pictures are old and faded... this is amazing!!!!
