Looks good, but not sure I'd eat it, though. Love the colors.

oh my gosh Marcie this is amazing photography. A great macro and such incredible detail. My mother was a talented mushroom picker (not me -- I don't know the safe ones)

Looks like a lovely plate of peach desert. Nature's design is unbeatable, and so are your images. I love this one.

although i'm not sure they're edible, the way you presented and named them makes it look like the opposite.. :D great shot.. :)

I love the deep orange. It's a fascinating shot, intriguing. Excellent framing and use of dof. I also love the details of each line on the mushroom.

Love mushrooms, this photo is just a perfect capture. I think it must be the color-so purely mushroom, that lovely pale orange.
Bo Mackison on 12th September 2009 @ 5:40pm
Excellent DoF and processing which allows for an "artistic" presentation -- detail with style. Does that make any sense? =)
Sue on 13th September 2009 @ 9:27am
Excellent work, Marcie. Love your macros.
Toni on 13th September 2009 @ 1:47pm

I would almost be tempted to eat these.... I will probably end up seeing green leprechauns if I do...

The mushrooms always waiting the photographer... I think it's the best period for that. Anyway, excellent depth of field and viewable details. J'en vois pas beaucoup avec des lamelles aussi visible. Bonne semaine.
Doum on 14th September 2009 @ 8:25am
how can a mushroom be beautiful? you make it so...

Excellent close up of this gorgeous mushroom. It's almost mushroom time around here. Soon I'll be crawling through the woods on my hand and knees. With all the rain we had this summer it's going to be a banner year for mushroom macros.
