These are about my recent adventures in Italy. I will be posting images and occasional accompanying descriptions of what it is you are looking at.
Hope you enjoy the journey.
Outside each front door is a boat waiting.

Lovely capture, like a work of art, should be hanging in the Olive Garden or some place, and I mean that as a sincere compliment.

It's nicer to see the backyard than the touristic side sometimes... great image.

I like the remarkable colors and the impressionistic look the blur adds. Very effective image.

magical dreamy treatment! ... and it's cool to see the tradesmen's entrance with the boat moored in front of it!
paolo on 26th November 2009 @ 6:46pm
how odd it is to have a boat parked in front of your house instead of a car.. :) wonderful capture though.. :)
Rian on 27th November 2009 @ 8:57am
Very very intereting processing here, creative!
Robert Kruh on 27th November 2009 @ 9:11am
I like the bright blue and the smudged appearance that gives the photo an impressionistic tone.
harry on 27th November 2009 @ 11:46am
jolies couleurs.
Marie on 27th November 2009 @ 6:06pm
I like the effect (blur) you did on this one. I can here the waves rolling to the house walls and I can hear people interacting around the corner and I can see the old Italian women looking out behind the curtain.... :) I just love it!
Susanne Van Hulst on 27th November 2009 @ 9:53pm
It looks rather idyllic - very dreamlike. I can imagine myself there and waking to open the front door to this vision. Just gorgeous!!
Toni on 28th November 2009 @ 3:15am
What a lovely image...love the colors of the boat and the tones and textures.
Susan on 28th November 2009 @ 4:09pm
the light in these photos is amazing!
grant on 28th November 2009 @ 6:54pm
I love that their boats are their cars. So simply parked out in front, as would be expected of your daily transportation. The boats have as much character as the old houses, perhaps they are almost as old....
DoWhatYouLove on 29th November 2009 @ 4:46am
such wonderful colors, mixture of soft and bright.
