These are about my recent adventures in Italy. I will be posting images and occasional accompanying descriptions of what it is you are looking at.
Hope you enjoy the journey.
A small restaurant in Venezia, tucked away and almost hidden, awaiting its late night diners.

I have a photographer friend in Milan, he is Venetian, born and raised in Venice. He would love your work too, Marcie!!! I this picture you have captured 100% the ambiance of Italian "Viva la Vita" or "Dolce far niente" or just a ode to the great Italian life style - I mean FOOD! :)

There must be treasures like this hidden all over the place. That would be so much fun to find these lovely little restaurants hidden in the nooks and crannies.

Different from the others, mysterious, almost magical, with all these frames, good work, Marcie!
I love your "hight" grain (i suppose you added grain, it's the best trick against "noise" ;)
Just an observation, Marcie, not a critic. I'm not sure the gaussian blur really adds to the image. Here, the mood of this tiny entrance, together with the wall relief, is so powerful that it should work very well without blur. Just an idea ;)
