I work with small businesses, studios, and individual (solo-preneurs) in the fields of yoga and wellness. My photographic experience along with my many years of yoga practice and teaching certification are what will inform and guide our work together. The majority of my clients use the photographs to build their websites and other online social media presence. Others - choose to represent themselves and their businesses in print. No matter what your needs - I can customize a package to fit both your budget and aesthetic goals.

Why the 'muse-in-YOU'?
Because the practice of yoga begins within. It begins with quieting the mind..with long slow deep breathing...with grounding and centering. It begins with listening to your innermost dreams and desires..to your heart's yearnings. It begins with you.
In our work - I aim to capture your true inner beauty and light. I seek out those moments of expression where you feel deeply rooted and connected to your core...to where your heart sings. In each and every one of us there's an energy..an ever-changing life force and source. We'll look to discovering that space within you where you feel awake and alive...wholly present on your personal path and life's journey.

To begin each session - I'll lead you through a few warming sun salutations to ground you in your body and your breath. From there - we'll work on whatever poses speak to you and your deepest most creative self.

Yoga portrait sessions
Whether you are seeking photography to build a website, accompany your writing or blogging, streamline your online social media presence, print media, or - perhaps to simply share with family and friends - I offer up several customizable packages to meet your needs. $550 Deluxe
Up to two locations and multiple changes of clothing. Indoor and/or outdoor shooting (within reasonable distance from one another). Includes 2-3 hours of my time and artistic vision, post-processing, and digital files of all images downloaded to a private image-sharing gallery, suitable for printing and/or web use.
This is for you if you love to play and get really creative. It can also be used if you're wanting a wide assortment and rage of imagery for a website, social marketing, or print brochures.

A single-location (indoors or out) and 2-3 changes of clothing. Includes 1-2 hours of my time and artistic vision, post-processing, 30-50 low-resolution digital proofs which can be viewed on a private image-sharing gallery, suitable for web use.

A single-location (indoors) with one outfit. Includes 30-45 minutes of my time and artistic vision, post-processing, 15-30 low-resolution digital proofs which can be viewed on a private image-sharing gallery, suitable for web use.

Because care and attention to detail is important to me, I print every photograph myself on an Epson Stylus Pro printer using archival Ultrachrome K3 ink technology, allowing me to produce consistent professional quality images every time. As a photographic artist, I choose to print on Fine Art Velvet Paper - an archival, cotton rag, acid free paper, that offers a superior musuem-quality feel. Each is archivally matted and signed.

Location:
We'll meet at a location (indoors or out) of your choosing. It could be a favorite yoga studio, your living room, your backyard. I can provide a number or suggestions and recommendations. Preferable times to schedule outdoor sessions is either early in the morning or late in the afternoon/early evening (depending on the time of year and season).
Booking a session:
I require a non-refundable $125 deposit upon booking a session. In the unlikely event that I should have to cancel the session, you can either choose to reschedule or have your deposit fully refunded.
What to bring:
You and yourself and your practice. Your mat. A small towel. A couple of outfits to choose from. Together we can choose colors that might work best. Props are welcome and always a fun addition.
Process:
Within 3-4 weeks of when we meet, your digital proofs will be available for viewing in a private online gallery. Once you have made your selections, your final images will be available within 1 week following. Expedited processing is available for an additional fee.
