Buried deep within our bodies in each and every one of us is a creative voice simply waiting to be set free.

We arrive on our mats. A clean page, a blank slate, a canvas awaiting. A fresh new beginning. We show up. We drop our heads. We come out of our thinking minds and arrive in our bodies. We breathe. We feel the resistance. We release. We soften. We make space for fear and doubt and imperfection. We begin to trust. We begin to believe. Our bodies grow stronger. Our hearts open. And one day - we find ourselves different than the what and who we were the day before. Transformed.

Day after day after day. We practice. We learn to meet and greet that inner critic - to say hello..and watch it float away. We challenge ourselves and self-limiting beliefs. We face our fears. We grow. We pick up a pencil and write our stories. We find a paintbrush and paint. We raise a camera to our eyes and begin to see and record the world thru our very own lens.

The discipline and practice of yoga is the foundation from where we begin. The ancient teachings guide and inform us.

By definition - yoga is the sanskrit term for 'union' of body and mind and soul. The physical asana practice is one in which we use our bodies as the mediums that connect us to and with our consciousness. The practice makes us healthy...strong...flexible....vibrant. It teaches us to slow down...to notice...to listen. It cultivates awareness - both of self and the world that surrounds. It calms and clears our minds. It becomes a platform for meditation.

The practice meets and greets us where we are in this real and present moment. There is no need for flexibility or athletic strength or prior experience. All that's required is a willingness to try..an open heart..an open mind.

I offer up powerful...soulful and inspiring classes and workshops. Together - we'll honor and celebrate the muse within. As we change our bodies - we open up..expand and change our relationship to our deepest, inner most creative selves. We change our minds.

Summer Class Teaching Schedule:
Fridays: 7:45 - 9:00 a.m. at Inner Strength Studios, Watertown

Private and Small Group Teaching:
In the privacy and convenience of your home - I am available to work with you 1:1 or in small groups (max. 3)
One person: $65/1-hr.
Two people: $100/1-hr.
Three people: $120/1-hr.
